Still & All
I'm living in a film
Every day I leave the cameras rolling
And before I get the chance to light a cigarette
The lights come on - Action! - gimme tears
And if I were going to die
You'd be the girl I'd want to die for
Yeah I know that that's not right
But the hanging-on takes all the strength I have Did you think you were doing me a favour girl
It's the strangest kind of failure girl
Hate the guide, drop the pilot, kill the messenger as well Sat outside the erzatz English bar
I knew enough to wish upon a star
I didn't figure on there being no stars where you are
Hadn't realized it had gone that far
And if I were going to die
I know the railway bridge I'd jump from
It's covered in lost causes anyway
I guess we'll never know who wrote them Did you think you were doing me a favour girl
It's the strangest kind of failure girl
Hate the guide, drop the pilot, drown the orchestra as well
Did you think you were doing me a favour girl
It's the strangest kind of failure girl
Hate the guide, love the placement, the Replacements even? No.
I've got a problem with that
I've got the same problem with everything these days
The same problem with everything these days
Still and all...
Still and all...
Still and all

Condition Blue
For all the pain and crap from which this record was made, the actual sessions were a gigantic and wonderful party. This was warmly received by The Outside World, less popular among those who counted themselves JBC afficionados. This IS the sound of me having fun, and getting me to do that in those dark days of mid-1991 was no small job.
Western Family
For loonie completists only, for sure, though, if you listen through the muck, you'll see that we did our bit.
