well, some questions have slower roll-overs than others.
this one hasn't been seen in about 5 years.
in 1989, in milwaukee, the night the pic inside the Cult album
was taken, i asked pat about this dig. at the time, i was probably
a bigger fan of Orange Juice (Edwyn Collins) than of the Butcher,
so i was demanding an explanation. about 4 years(?) previous,
i had found the Paul Quinn/Edwyn Collins single in question: Pale Blue Eyes.
you know - a Velvets tune. this tune may be heard in the soundtrack of
"Punk Pock Hotel", which i have not seen.
pat claims "I didn't care for it". he goes furher (much to my delight)
to say that he had nothing against Edwyn Collins, and in fact had seen
him in concert a couple of times.
