Subject: What Homr says I should listen to
Sorry if this is considered a waste of space, but I thought you might enjoy
this. After seeing what wonderful and accurate results everybody else that has
used this Homr thing got, I decided to use it for myself. I put in a large list
of groups I like, including:
Duran Duran
Adam Ant
Bauhaus (I also listed L&R and Peter Murphy
Erasure
Depeche Mode
The Smiths
Joy Division
The Jazz Butcher
They Might Be Giants
KMFDM
Carter USM
Siouxsie And The Banshees
The Cure
This is some of what Homr thought I would like:
New Kids On The Block
Tiffany
Liberace (!)
Twisted Sister
Night Ranger
Vanilla Ice
Jermaine Jackson
Iron Butterfly
Robert Palmer
Dweezil Zappa
Personally, I wouldn't be caught dead listening to any of this stuff. The only
thing that was on target was Adam And The Ants, though I thought it was weird
since I already mentioned Adam in my original list. I sent them a feedback
message telling them that their project is waste of space on the internet and
should be shut down. I did get a very good laugh out of this, though. I just had
my english teacher try it out; he put in stuff like Frank Sinatra and The
Pixies--he also got that message saying that he was too weird. I sort of wish
that I had gotten that message too, but this list was too hysterical beyond
belief anyway. Guess I better go get some Liberace records now ("This next song
is for my brother George"). :P
