Subject: Illuminate In CA! Yay!
Went to Station to Station, the local indie shop here in St. Catharines.
They had an import version of Lovebus, (Which I already have). But I
asked the fellow behind the counter about Illuminate and he said it would
probally be in in about two weeks. That is, when their next big shipment
comes in. As far as he knew, the record company bouncing in the States
had nothing to do with Creation's long-standing distribution by Polygram
here in Canada. He said it was likely they would stock the UK version,
though, if it was cheaper (for them) than the domestic release. At any
rate, I'll be there with my cash firmly in hand.
So, it looks like we'll be in luck...somehow. Quoted price was $12. The
guy might have just been dangling the low price to get me back there.
Chris. Check those Kitchener/Waterloo indie-record shops. Someone's
bound to have it (Or is planning to get it) Somewhere.
Heck. If you check out the Doctor Disk in London, I'll hit the one in
Hamilton!
I just figure, even if what the guy at Station to Station was saying was
bull, we could probally find a store or two willing to import it.
Or maybe I've just become impatient after reading those reviews by Joe!
