The Jazz Butcher

Lyrics

Blame
Guns and bombs and old fire lighters on channel 4 T.V.
20 years since rocks got chucked at cops in Gay Paree.

Chorus:

They'll have a retrospective orgy
Of twisted idiot theory
And they won't get the point
And I'm just getting weary

Things are getting out of hand
Stuff that I don't understand
Somebody caught rabies
I don't recognise this place
No one looks you in the face
I'm scared of the hotel ladies

Chorus

Don't blame it on me
Blame it on the Libyans
Don't blame it on me
Blame it on the Libyans
Don't blame it on me
Blame it on the Libyans
Don't blame it on me
Blame it on the Libyans

Thanks for the money. We'll be spending it on weapons and drugs. The first thing that you have to understand about this disc is that it is not an L.P.: it is a single and a radio session nailed together for your amusement.

Pat Says

The Butcher Says..
And, well I never, here's another version of Blame . Without the civilising influence of Alex "Savage But Reasonable" Green (already suitably humiliated for absence on Canadian dates during the previous summer) or the supertechnopower hot Casio SK-1, this really does start to get ugly. Which is just as it should be, really. Did you ask your mum yet? No, well, it's a bit of a problem, I agree. Why not just fucking educate yourself instead? Source: Spooky liner notes
