Subject: I want my JBC

Well...no more hopeful glances at the concert listings for the venerable
Commodore Ballroom here in Vancouver, site of several JBC shows over the
years. This is very disappointing. There are no heir apparents. It takes a
long time to find a voice and music that you feel you can grow old with and
yet keeps you young.

I'm sure most can sympathize with the frustrations of Pat and I hope he
sympathizes with ours and does one last greatest hits tour to coincide with
any forthcoming Creation anthology.

Just to help out, coz I know you're a busy man Pat, here's a set list for
when you come by these shores. In fact, feel free to use it as a track
listing for your greatest hits (yeah, I know some of it pre-dates Creation
days)

The Devil is My Friend
Southern Mark Smith
Down the Drain
Caroline Wheeler's Birthday Present
Rebecca Wants Her Bike Back
Chickentown
Lot 49
She's on Drugs
Still in the Kitchen

And some covers for the encores...

Well, it pretty obvious we could be talking box set here. Get the presses
ready, Christmas is upon us and I can think of no finer gift except perhaps
news that this is all Bloody Nonsense.
