Subject: Illuminate/Blue Aeroplanes
Gawd, I felt like a giddy teenager when I finally got to listen to
Illuminate! It hit me immediately--much more than Love Bus ever has. By the
way, what's the deal with "Do You Wanna Dance" on Love Bus? It's got to be
one of my LEAST favorite JBC songs. I do hope it was joke of some sort.
On a different note, I have a vinyl copy of the Blue Aeroplanes
"Friendloverplane" which would be free (maybe some postage $ would be nice)
for the taking if anyone's interested. I bought it in England in 1989 and I
think it's a compilation of stuff from their first five years. Only been
played once when I taped it.
And I just remembered... could someone briefly list the discography of the
JBC ORIGINAL albums for those of us not lucky enough to get into the Web site
(I'm trying, really). Just title and year would be good enough for me. I
think I heard that Illuminate was #10. I'm hopelessly confused on
pre-Fishcoteque stuff.
