Ten Years After

While cleaning the garage today, I ran across a bit of tablecloth (table-paper?) salvaged from Tramps in NYC 2 May 1992. Hard to believe that the Condition Blue tour was 10 years ago.

Anyhow, the note (clearly from the post/pre-Eider days) promises "an evening of slow, loud, lush, bitter and twisted gorgeousness. No talking elephants, no songs about getting gratuitously steamed on cheap liquor, no dancing girls. Just a compulsory chilling advisory in full effect. Turn on, tune up, sit down. It's raining love."

The encore that night included (what I remember as) an incredibly moving version of "Tugboat Captain," and as we all know, Western Family didn't really capture the heart of that tour (at least not the sound of it.)

I have a CD of most of the show (thanks, Brian). Anyone have the end of the show, including "Tugboat Captain"? Let me know off-list.

Thanks.

Gene
