Re: Gather 'round the pool, it's lyrics night tonight.

I've always loved:
"...was made entirely from the skins of dead Jim Morrisons - 'swhy it smelled so bad"

..And I love Pat's *delivery* of "..And people wonder where all the fucking money's gone."

And "Chickentown" - what a great song. Not the chicken rap (Best Way - which I like also) - but "(Smalltown)" -> another story of the dreadful life in the suburbs (See also: Pleasant Valley Sunday (Monkees), The Big Country (Talking Heads), Smalltown (Lou Reed), etc..) I imagine that the Bicycle Kid probably lives in that damn town.

I don't have any dislikes - although "Grey Flannelette" sometimes bugs me because it's slow, droning & long - I still appreciate it for it's lo-fi, utilitarian, oscillating Berlinesque qualities. (Gotta be in the right mood for it... and I'll take it over a Dave Matthews song any time.)

...And "The Onion Field" is a great song (Although when I think of it, I always drift into "Imitation Pearls" by David J., for some reason - which is a better song.)

What's you favorite Pat Fish suit? I like the black one best.

-Dave
