A Few Memories...

        Fellow JBC'ers,

     Changing gears slightly, I thought I would throw a few of my
     favorite Butcher lyrics out there & tell you why i enjoy them.

     It took me far too long to figure out that meant I have to
     give it to get it.

     AND SHE TOLD ME THAT IT CHANGED WHAT SHE WANTED TO BE"
     I had similar feelings of inspiration after I first heard
     Pat's music. It changed what I wanted to listen to & helped
     an awkward teenager find identity.


     "IT'S ONLY A RUMOUR- WHAT'S THIS I HEAR ABOUT YOU AND SUSIE?"

     Pat & David's delivery was just plain passionate.


     "THIS IS PARTYTIME

     AND IT'S BETTER THAN A COLD BATH WITH SOMEONE YOU DISLIKE"
     Disturbing, Descriptive, and Hilarious- Classic Butcher!
     I met Pat Fish in June of '88 at a gig in Vancouver. I tell you
     this only because it was one of the big thrills of my young
     life. It's pretty damn cool to have a pint with your hero when
     you're 18 years old. It's even cooler when he turns out to be
     one Helluva nice guy. Keep on making music Pat because alot
     of people out there keep on loving it.
     I would love to hear about some of the good feelings other
     Conspirators associate with Pat's music, if anyone is so
     inclined.
