Anyways, it's just nice to see that this list can tolerate dissent. If you tried discussing Pogues songs that sucked (and there are some) on the Friends of Shane MacGowan list you'd be dodging flames for weeks.

One of the things that's generally bugged me about JBC releases over the years is that the material isn't as balanced as some of my other favourite artists. There does seem to usually be a track or two that is dodgy at best, and unlistenable at worst. While Pat's overall body of work puts him at the top of the heap as far as I'm concerned, there's still no one JBC album that I rate as highly as "Sittin' Pretty" by the Pastels, "Psychocandy" by the Jesus and Mary Chain, "Tim" by the Replacements or "Summerteeth" by Wilco.

most of Bath of Bacon really...
