Very cool review. Kind of reminds us of the quality in sound (sorry Dave) Butch and the conspiracy acheived. Always adored by the press and the media, it was the originallity of their music that endeared us fans and alienated the regular type peoples. I've said it before on this list, I'm sure, but I'll say it again. The Jazz Butcher has always been a musician's musician.

I remember favourable reviews for Condition Blue in Spin that year as well. Also, my local, radio station www.edge102.com (I live just south of Toronto)always played the heck out of everyone of his singles.
