Whether or not this is the end of Sumo, I'm glad Pat is no longer with Creation--they have done the most piss poor job of promoting JB/Sumo records possible. I really don't think they could have done worse. Case in point: Releasing "CFS" single, in severely limited quantities, over a year before the release of the full-length. Why bother?

Personally, I'd like to now see Pat (and Max?) do an acoustic album of new songs, and maybe a couple covers. Then I'd like to see him sign with a mid-to-small label like Setanta--they did a pretty good job with Edwyn Collins, especially when it came to promoting a single, and he has a similar audience.

My 2 cents, anyway...
