Hello there.

Sorry I've been rather uncommunicative for a little while. Tell the honest, there hasn't been that much to communicate, but things are picking up.

Sumosonic news is as follows (some of this is probably repeated on World of Sumo):

THIS IS SUMO is due for release in the U.K. on January 12th 1998. The record's cut, the artwork's been approved (though I haven't seen it yet, so can't report), all is ready. Final tracklisting (if memory serves):
Spacemen
God's Green Earth
Fern. Schnell. Gut.
Cat's Life
Destroy All Monsters
Radio Saigon
Everything is Wonderful
Hey Stupid
Business and Work
Monks of Kung Fu
Sputnik
Spacemen (sushi mix)
I'm guessing that a lot of you will be after U.S. release news, but I'm afraid you're gonna have to rely on import stores for now. I know this sucks, but it ain't our fault.

THIS IS TOUR
Confirmed dates so far: 17th Bath Moles, 20th London Garage, 30th Bristol Louisiana.
We will definitely be playing in Brighton and Reading and probably in Exeter, Oxford and Northampton around the same period. Further suggestions welcome.

MISCELLANEOUS SHIT:
Every time someone goes into a record store in **insert name of some sizeable American city** and says "You know, I think I must be the only JBC fan in this town," the guy behind the counters makes a mental note to only order one copy of the next record. The petition is the opposite of such stupidity and, as such, a valuable stroke of initiative. People need persuading these days.

Oh God, the cocker spaniel of Destiny is eyeing up the lamppost of Time with some purpose, so I must wend my merry one. More as it comes up.

Regards,

Gabriel.
