Or, if you prefer to do it without bar chords:
(and I'm not gonna write out all the easy ones)

Western Europe's still a
(A Major)

Civilized place
E|---|-4-|---|---
B|-2-|---|---|---
G|-1-|---|---|---
D|---|-3-|---|---
A|---|---|---|---
Ex

Despite those
(A Major)

Amer-

G|-3-|---|---|---
D|-2-|---|---|---

-icans all (Em7)
E|---|---|---|---
B|---|---|---|---
G|---|---|---|---
D|---|---|---|---

Ex

over the place (F#M7)
E|---|---|---|---
B|---|---|---|---
G|---|---|-2-|---
D|---|-b-|---|---
A|---|---|---|-3-
E|---|-b-|---|---

But just the other week
(DM)

A saw it take a little dive
(E Major)

AM x4 beats, EM x 4 beats

repeat

then chorus

So why'd they go and (DM)
Shoot Olof (EM)
Palme (AM-AM7)
(where AM7=
E|---|---|-4-|---
B|---|-1-|---|---
G|---|-1-|---|---
D|---|-1-|---|---
A|---|---|---|---
E|---|---|---|--- )

Why'd they go and shoot (DM)
That good man down (EM)

AM x2, F#M7 x2, DM x2, EM x2

Now, the only other part that might be troublesome is the break:

What'd they have to go and (F#M7)
go (FM7 i.e. slide the bar down a fret)
and EM7 again, slide the bar down a fret)
shoot him for (DM)

repeat 2 more times, except on "shot him" go to EM.

THAT's more like the way I hear it, although they key I play it in could
be completely off, it sounds a lot better this way than with bar chords.

If I knew how to write solos I'd post that too.

Okay, enjoy.
