Subject: Anal retentives paradise
Okay, well, I can't think of a top 5 favourite bands list, but I'll mention
some of my favourite bands, in no particular order.
The Holly Cole Trio
Split Enz
The Mutton Birds
Hunters & Collectors
When Eno Sings... I don't know, the subject material doesn't grab me
the way a lot of the rest of Illuminate does. As to Surf Gear In
Idaho... well, I really like the phrasing that we need government "just
like we need surf gear in Idaho", and the way that it is sung, mmm. I
like it. There are other really great bits in various songs, like that
about the stars at night in Land. Just think about what we've done to
the planet... well, anyways...

Well, if you agree with Rush politically, I can see how it might be hard
to like some of the stuff on Illuminate (or overall, certain songs from
various albums) b/c of that... :)
