Subject: A survey of everyone's favorite bands?
I had an idea the other day I'd like to try out. If this has been done before,
somebody please drop me a polite note; I'm relatively new to the list.
Anyway, due to the recent favorite band lists being posted, I thought maybe a
survey is in order. So as not to harass the folks who tire easily of redundant
messages, everyone can send their votes to me. I'll then tally up and compile
the results and post them on the jbc-list for everyone to see.
Vote format: (example)
My top five (5)--lets keep it at this nice round, manageable number!--bands
are: (in no particular order)
(and, btw, there's no need to mention the jbc, we already *know* you like
them!)
1) The Connels
2) REM (okay, so not all favorites have to be obscure British art-groups from
the mid 1980s)
3) The Velvet Underground
4) They Might Be Giants
5) Robyn Hitchcock and the Egyptians
I'm not going to weigh the results due to how you rank 'em, so don't spend
hours deciding whether you like Bauhaus better or The Blue Aeroplanes.

Now maybe will have some sort of answer to the question, "I like the jbc, what
other bands might I like?"
