Subject: Introductory Post
Hi everyone,
My name is Fred Wheaton and I'm new to the jbc list (and to the Internet in
general). I found out about the list when I downloaded a discography from
uwp.edu.
I've been enjoying the music of the jazz butcher conspiracy since the
mid-eighties; I've been lucky enough to see pat and his sikkorskis from hell
perform on three occasions, starting with the Fishcotheque tour. My favorite
record would have to A Scandal In Bohemia, though Sex and Travel comes in a
pretty close second. Love 'em all, though...
I've read the recent posts concerning Illuminate. I haven't found a copy yet
but I do have the Sixteen Years single. I wonder if it would be worth waiting
for a domestic release, since the U.S. version of Waiting For The Love Bus
contained two extra tracks? Ah, who am I kidding, I'll buy the import if I
see it...
