A white wimpy wock wover’s nirvana. The eccentric Butcherman (nee Pat Fish)’s latest Cult of the Basement (Rough Trade) is the perfect party album for all geeks, bookworms and other true hepcats. Like the aerodynamically- monikered Screaming Blue Messiahs, Brit vets the Blue Acroplanes fly the frantic skies with heavy guitars and minimalistic vocals on their new Swagger (Chrysalis). Jellyfish, who wowed some with their costumes, bubble machine and covers of Wings’ “Live And Let Die” and Badfinger’s “No Matter What” opening for World Party last month, play between the Jazz- plane sets in the Entry. 8 p.m., First Avenue, 701 First Ave. N., Mpls, 338-8388.
