The “20th Century Boy” used in that commercial is a Cover Version done by Chalk Circle (80’s Canadian band I believe). I’m sure we’ll be seeing quite a lot more marketed tunes toward us…

Well, hey...
I wondered a while back why T.Rex's '20th Century Boy' and Iggy Pop's "Lust for Life" were used to hock cars...but then I realized, perhaps I am their target market! It makes me feel I am not living up to my potential, like I should be earning the kind of money to afford a new sporty car. I just hope that if the JBC is used to sell product, that it's for something I can afford...Marnie Miaow Mix, Olof Pomade, Bath of Bacon double cheeseburger, Cute Submarine sandwich, Our Friends the Filth bathroom cleanser (with scrubbing bubbles)...That kind of thing.
