Dear colleagues,
This is a tentative reading list on the new laws which give seeping powers to the police, the secret services, the governments and, most of all to G.W. Bush. These include the right to tap your phone conversations, to sieve your e-mail, to kill political opponents in any country of the world and, possibly, to introduce the use of torture in police interrogations. Bush's recent claim that our enemies are developing atomic and biological weapons justifies everything -- especially if enemies are everywhere.
