Apologies also to Pat as I somehow missed the links on the mail that sparked this lot off and have now deleted it (could you send again, sounds interesting!). And of course obviously apologies to Ian that he's had to discover dissent at clearly a tender age and I hope therefore that he doesn't stumble across such renowned propagandists as the UN and the Red Cross who keep pointing out, very irritatingly, that up to 2m lives are at risk in Afghanistan. As they and we should all remember these are not American lives and that's the main thing.
