Gratifying to hear Creation's Alan McGee sing praises of Pat's songwriting ability...
"He has written songs that stand up against anything. If Noel Gallagher had written 'Girl Go', it would have been a number one, no question. But you know what? Fish has written some of the great songs of the last 40 years and, sooner or later, great songs get remembered."
It makes me wonder why Creation didn't promote or distribute Illuminate or Sumosonic's "This Is Sumo" very well. One could argue that with the right promotion and hype, Pat Fish would be enjoying the recognition he deserves (beyond this list, that is!).
