At the risk of making this the Lloyd Cole list...He appears on a new disc called "Pop Romantique: French Pop Classics." It's a great disc, and also includes Luna, The Hang-Ups, Ivy, Apples in Stereo and Magnetic Fields, among others. No "La Mer" though...
