Re: [JBC] A MESSAGE FROM THE JBC

"Here, here...well spoken, Bruce!"

For the record, are Pat & Co. receiving any royalties off the
"Excellent" collection and the stuff that's still available as
legitimate imports?

JBC listees may want to check out the recent release from Tim Keegan and Departure Lounge, entitled "Out of Here." (UK import now, US release soon) They're supporting/backing Robyn Hitchcock on his current tour, but this album sounds to me like a cross between Max's
"Best Kisser in the World" and the Legendary Jim Ruiz Group records,
with dashes of everyone from JBC to the Velvet Underground to Oasis to Paul Weller thrown in for spice. If that tour comes to your town, I urge you to check it out. I know it's off topic a bit, but this is one album I'm glad to have stumbled onto, and I bet you'll like it, too. Received on Mon Nov 15 17:38:46 1999
