I mentioned this to Steve Valentine (JBC bassist/lawyer/driver) at the
NYC gig. He said that Fire or whomever it is that holds the rights was
in financial trouble and that Butch may be close to regaining the
rights. They don't want to seem to anxious as it would drive up the
price. I may have been (alright I WAS) quite high at the time but for
some reason the number $2000 seems to be the number I remember him
mentioning.
Shit, thats only 20 copies of Bloody Nonsense on e-bay!
I also mentioned to him that people on the list would probably be glad to chip in to help out.
I also would throw a $100 to this wonderful cause.
