I abandoned the Adaptec software early on, mostly because that version
didn't have DAO. I've been using CDRWIN by Goldenhawk
(www.goldenhawk.com) without any complaints - well worth the investment.
Sorry if this sounds advertise-y, but when I'm happy with something I like to spread the word.
