[JBC] long night starts...?

The sound came thru clear and warm on my speakers. Sounds like a quick live take in the sense that it's, as you say, not flashy in its guitarwork nor its production. Felt like the lads were playing here in the room, and that's always a good feel from recordings.

I'd like to hear it fleshed out a bit, maybe some of that nice piano like on Gentlefolk. I'm sure with more time on the recording end it could qualify as "releasable" (whatever that might mean). As it is now, it seems more like the demo stage, or maybe just in need of a few more tracks.

It does grow on you, that's for sure. Sad and resigned, it creeps into the room in a warm, comfortable way that's just right for Autumn's cool and contemplative nights. Most importantly: GOD how great it is to hear Max's voice again! If I were computer-savvy enough I'd surely download it rather than stream it.

Thumbs up.
