fall tour

So I live in san francisco and I'm considering hitting the portland and seattle shows as well... but my decision depends on a few things. I don't drive (well I do, but i don't think they have motorcycle rentals at the airport), so getting around is an issue. does anyone have insights on where to stay, public transportation, etc? Also, is anyone in portland considering driving to the seattle show? and would you like another passenger? :D
