That would be The Normal, that was basically just Mute Records' president/founder Daniel Miller. It was Mute records first release, if memory serves me correctly. He also put out music as The Silicon Teens, that did electropop covers of 50s/60s rock hits.

Warm Leatherette (backed with T.V.O.D.) was also covered by Grace Jones. Today you can find it as a CD single or on the Sire compilation Just Say Yesterday, which might be out of print. Received on Wed Apr 22 17:54:54 1998
