the question is not whether this thing will be released, but a matter of scale. i was going to be quite happy to do a couple hundred run and just distribute it online - a fan release. under the radar.

then someone from LA who has known pat forever and happens to work in "the Biz" offered to make a proper release/distribution. (yeah, i know, where were these people 5 years ago...)

as fate would have it, *right now* i am making for this person the only copy of this show i have made for anyone beside pat.

being a bigger (couple thousand pressing) run means real money, real contracts and copyright ownership issues. things outside of what i am willing to deal with. so - we are in an information gathering mode, awaiting rough drafts of contracts, etc.

believe me, i want to share this rather good show, but in this case it may be worth the wait - it will be in pat and max's better interest to wait 'til the i's are crossed.

bottom line - boring business details.

other things - you UK cats have half a dozen Sumosonic shows to attend this month. we expect full reports, photographs and audio recordings.

the jbc website will be jumping machines sometime this week, which explains any downtime you may experience. same URL, different machine about one miles' distant. for those curious, the JBC website is 350Meg big. its new home will feature the capability to stream video and audio samples, in addition to being on a buff SGI box 1 hop from a backbone. JBC on *demand*.
