finally Sumo

It took many weeks, some hassles with UPS, and lots of long distance charges billed to my place of work, but I finally have "Come Friendly Spacemen"!! I also picked up a Spiritualized "Pure Phase Tones for DJs" while I was at the mail order thing...Siren Disc, for those still in search of Sumo.

My opinion of it? Lovely! I have doubts about it being a U.S. pop hit, but I've already hit the "replay" button at least twice if that's a testament to its catchiness. The cat seems to like it too. He's position himself between the stereo speakers and won't budge.

Too bad I didn't have it in time to cap of last week's season finale of the X-Files. Maybe Pat will make it onto the next X soundtrack...
