i found a couple of tidbits on the JBC i hadn't seen before:

        http://www.xworld.com/dirt/dirt12-17-96.html#4

discusses Sumosonic.

        http://www.xworld.com/dirt/dirt08-20-96.html#3

discusses the final gig (and has a nice photo of pat/max)

        http://www.bris.ac.uk/Depts/Union/Epigram/064/mus02.htm

a wildly pointed comment about the single "Sixteen Years" from Illuminate.

still laughing out loud over this one..
(there is a nice quote near the top of the page)

        http://www.missouri.edu/~tcommwww/students/rhen/nov96/RHENPROG31.html

what the hell? they claim that the film "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me" contains in its soundtrack some Jazz Butcher. anyone know more about this?

seems to have several of those old Glass releases on LP that everyone wants. site in German, though. don't know if they're for sale.

and a trader's page i will not give the URL out for :-|

i spoke with pat this week and he promises the marked-up lyrics to be headed for the mail soon.

the sumosonic album is having the usual delays with the creation weenies (who can't even keep a simple website going!).

one Never Records in NYC (fax: 212 929 6305) will be releasing two things: "Excellent - The Violent Years", a creation-era comp, and "Illuminate", the US domestic.

would someone proficient in Fax Protocols find out the availability of these. convince them they could unload a couple dozen.
