Great idea Chris...'cept they'd find us anyway--Where ever you find intelligent discourse, you'll also find a guy trying to butt in-- ...you've got to admit it's pretty funny really...Whoever is sending this stuff out obviously doesn't have a clue how to write direct mail.

I mean if your going to send spam...at least make it interesting... I got a nice chuckle out of the 1.0 gig drive spams going around last year. They were well written, and I'm sure the copy would have worked well in a brochure format...but sheesh...you don't exactly grab my attention with "please see my attached form concerning yada yada. I paged through three screens before I realized what the heck they were even talking about and that's not including the two screen header.

Well, Whatever.

In a feeble effort to redeem myself...Hey has anyone seen Love and Rockets yet on their current tour? They just swung by Toronto a few days or so ago and I heard the show was amazing. Seeing as I didn't get up T.O. way and since there's a JBC connection there, I'd be really interested in hearing a first hand account of the show...  > --

Yes, I do sense the irony in complaining about spam in a letter I've signed with such a blatantly commercial sig. Received on Tue Apr 9 16:47:37 1996
